Which is the best security tool available on internet?

Hello everybody, I just wanted to ask which do you think is the best security tool available on the internet that I should use.

I am currently using Bit Defender Total Security 2010 which I think is the best for now, if you think that I'm wrong and I should change to some another program then pleas let me know. Also, let me know the reason for your answer.

Thanks for your answer in advance, I will also participate in this discussion!

I believe any mainstream antivirus software would do (provided you keep it updated, I personally use Avast) + encrypt your most important data using TrueCrypt and do regular backups + prevent others from accessing your computer, don't execute programs from untrusted sources, don't visit suspect websites.

I can say Nessus is really good because this tool explores and maps network systems for potential weaknesses that could provide an open door to attackers.

You can check itsecurity.com for the list of top 10 best security tools. But I personally use avast for my computer. I think Nessus is the 2nd best for me.

Cheers!
