Competitions about software development

There are international software competitions(computer science) in the world?

For example: you build a software, then you present to jury, or to create a software in the competition, in 24, 48, or more hours.

It doesn't matter if is for high school/ university/ etc...

I know about Intel ISEF, IYIPO http://www.iyipo.ge , ESI http://www.esi2011.eu , Challenge 24 www.ch24.org , ACM Open Source Competition at ACM Multimedia Conference http://www.acmmm11.org/ , Proyecto Multimedia http://www.proyectomultimedia.org , EBIKO http://www.ebiko.org , Infomatrix http://www.infomatrix.ro , only a few of them are for university students.

Yes. Intel Interational Science and Engineering Fair give scholar ship.
Also if you participate at ACM conference or competition they will give you scholarships.
ISWEEEP but is not for computer science

ESI is still open(http://www.esi2011.eu), and INESPO yes

A competition from Cambridge

I didn't know that such competitions existed for computer science (there are olympiads for other academic subjects, though, and I heard of some video games competitions before).

I guess I won't, because I'm not that good at computer science Besides, I'm not a student anymore and my schedule is rather busy ...
