batch script to auto install applications

I've written batch scripts before, but can't get a script to work to install a simple application.

The script I have is as follows: (saved as a .cmd)

@echo off

START D:\Cdrivefiles\MyDownloadFiles\acdsee24.exe /S

Then I get an error message saying it can't find the path in the Program Files (x86) folder.
It creates a ACDSee32 folder, with an INSTALL text document in it which reads:

*** Installation Started 11/08/12 11:53 ***
Title: ACDSee32 Installation
Source: D:\Cdrivefiles\MyDownloadFiles\acdsee24.exe
Could not execute the external program C:\PROGRA~2\ACDSee32\ACDSee32.exe.
User Rights: Admin

Why is it looking to that path? Any help would be greatly appricated. Thanks.
