Applications to Computers

What other applications are used in the field of computers (not just computer science, but computer as a whole)? For example, math is used in computer, but I want to know if there are any other applications used in computers.

Nope, it's pretty much just math.

To be honest, it depends on what you're coding. If you're doing biostatistics programming you can expect a fair amount of biology to creep in; if you're doing games there are a number of other concerns (physics, literature, aesthetics); if in the financial field, accountancy and finance (and possibly even some economics) are useful.

Re: Applications to Computers

If it was about computer engineering, then doesn't it require some engineering skills?
