os implementation

Hi, all. I'm a guy hoping to make my first os from a scratch. Before getting there, I think it's useful to follow people trying it previously. So I wonder if I can find where such a tutorial is on the web or what such a book is? Please enlighten me~ Thank you for concern.

Re: os implementation

Are you planning on programming your own kernel or using a standard kernel and building around it?
Either way your best bet is get "Linux From Scratch" first which should help I assume.

if you plan on going lower than that then just study how they work, what services are required e.t.c and then work from there.
