html code to display message when a webpage loads...

Hello there,
I've got a website which I'm thinking to shift to another, so I have to put a message on every page ( I can use html, java). I'm actually using the wordpress, I can put the code just below the the web page.

Can anyone help me with this message that I want to display on my website telling that this website has been shifter click ("here") to visit our new website or cancel to continue with the older version.

[IF NOT HTML I CAN USE OTHER THINGS TOO, I JUST WANT TO FULFILL THIS PURPOSE]

Anyone, pleas. I want to display this message as my website starts up.

There is one more question, if I do this. Will this effect my GPR?

I strongly advise you against doing such a redirection because both websites will be heaviliy penalized by Google (both will probably appear as "duplicate content" in Google results). Indeed, Google won't be able to recognize that both sites are yours and will consider that the new one is actually a duplicate of the older one (since it will be so much duplicate content). The impact on SEO will be devastating.

The proper way to do this is to use a permanent redirect (301 redirect I believe, in HTML) to indicate that your website will move permanently to a new domain name; In this way, your Google pagerank will be transferred by Google robots without any harm, and your web traffic as well.

Thank you very much for your answer. I understood everything, but one this I didn't understand was I don't know how to create a 301 redirect page.

I haven't been using a 301 redirect myself but I believe you'll find much doc about it on Google (just look for information about permanent redirects). If I remember well, it's just about adding a couple of lines in the header (or before the header) of the web page in order to indicate that the website has moved. I am not too sure if this must be done for each single webpage (i.e. if there must be a 1 to 1 mapping between old and new versions of each webpage of your website); I think that there's a way to achieve this at once by twisting some parameters on your server (setting up rules to automatically redirect certain pages/extensions to others).
