How much RAM can your system handle?

I used to have only 256 RAM but now my new laptop has got 3Gb RAM (plenty enough !).

My system support infinite RAM memory, it is just configure the OS to support... (Linux) :mrgreen:

Indeed 32 bits versions of operating systems can utilize only a maximum of 4Gb of RAM memory ... past this hard limit, you need to have a 64 bits operating system to handle more.

In my case, 512 RAM is fine as well. Anyway, I am using xp so I think it is not a problem. So far it never caused me any problems. Hopefully this will continue.
 
more softs installed and the functions of OS improved,more of the RAM needed.
for me,256---512--768--now,2GB :)
